In this year's Spring Wage Negotiation, many companies are raising starting salaries to attract and retain the best talent.

On the other hand, the declining birthrate and the turnover of young employees have become an issue for companies, with about 30% of college graduates who find jobs leaving within three years.

Staffing is becoming increasingly important, with the need for a diverse workforce to support digitalization, overseas operations, and decarbonization.

For example, JFE Steel is planning to increase the starting salary for college graduates who join the company in April 2024 by 50,000 yen per month to 282,000 yen.

We see that this year's Spring Strike has been followed by a series of full responses. We hope the economy will improve.
