Electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft are scheduled to fly at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, and it seems that domestic and foreign manufacturers are developing them for practical use.

Many automakers have entered the market, with Suzuki investing in SkyDrive, a domestically produced eVTOL manufacturer, and Subaru unveiling its own eVTOL for the first time.

Companies like Denso and Toray leverage technologies from aircraft and automobile industries to develop components for eVTOLs, benefiting from cross-industry knowledge transfer to enhance motors and materials.

Although it is difficult to distinguish from a helicopter, Kansai Expo is something to look forward to.
